Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: 115cc Power Engine and Safety at Only 75,049 Rupees

New Delhi | July 25, 2025

The Platina 110 ABS is a new initiative by Bajaj Auto, which throws the entry level commuter motorcycle segment in yet another turmoil, offering both a capable and affordable motorcycle with an ABS kit to boot. With ₹75,049 (ex-showroom) price, the bike offers an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that is not very common in this price segment, hence, making it an interesting choice of daily riders in the Indian market.

Why is the Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Special?

It is now propelled by an air cooled 115.45cc single cylinder getting it to give approximately 8.6 bhp at 7000 rpm and 9.81 Nm torque at 5000 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed transmission that makes it effective both in the city road and the highway ride. This improved engine provides a combination of reliability and fuel economy, excellent features that have remained a trademark of the platinum series.

The ultimate feature which differentiates this bike is a single-channel ABS unit. On a road where majority of bikes are only fitted with a CBS ( Combined Braking System), Bajaj has gone with the safety first mindset and provided ABS. This also lessens the risks of sliding especially when the brakes are applied easily even on slippery roads.

Comfort-Focused Commuter

The Platina 110 ABS has been developed keeping the Indian conditions on roads into consideration. It has a wide quilted seat which adds comfort to the rider when riding long distances. The bike also features an excellent riding position due to the handlebars structure and foot peg positioning.

Suspension wise it features telescopic front forks and two shock-loaded springs at the rear, which promise good ride over rough patches and potholes. The Platina has a ground clearance of 200 mm and weights 123 kg on the kerb, being lightweight but stable on the road.

Fuel Economy and Hotel Economy

One of the best attributes of the Platina 110 remains to be its fuel efficiency. It also has very good mileage of approximately 70 k per litre on optimal conditions. This is one of the cheapest ways where people commute to work on a daily basis especially in a days when fuel still remains unstable.

Design Build

The bicycle has a slim and non-complicated commuter work, having discreet graphics and mirrors in the body colour. It comes in an appealing choice in colours such as Ebony Black with red or blue decals and Cocktail Wine Red.

The completed digital add-on is an analog-digital instrument cluster, with display information about speed, gear, and trip. It offers all the necessary data concerning the rides, though this information is quite simple.

Target Audience

It is evident that this motorcycle is directed towards those who are interested in daily riding both in the rural and urban regions and are looking at a combination of fuel consumption, comfort, and safety, and cheap motorcycles. As awareness on road safety increased it is a welcome change that ABS is fitted in a low budget bike.
