The 3.9 update of the PUBG Mobile Korea (KR) version has commenced the roll out since July 8. The latest update involves a time-limited Transformers cooperation, futuristic vehicles, polished graphics, and new battle royale ranges it all focuses on a new gameplay experience in the Angel map.
The greatest aspect of this version is that Transformers characters like Optimus Prime and Megatron are incorporated in the battle field. The characters are invoked using Space bridge Beacons situated in various points throughout the map. Once activated, the players may collect Energon to increase the strength of the invoked Transformer which may fight in robot mode.
The terrain of Erangel has been modified with a cyberpunk-inspired place called Neon Town. This zone has Space bridge spawn points, Energon points to be obtained, and special loot crates. These places will allow the gamers to see the cinematic style battles between the Decepticons and Autobots in a live-match mode.
The update of course also features new vehicle options besides Transformers content. They have a new vehicle which is the Mega Truck, a heavy duty 4-seat vehicle capable of self-repair, and the Electromagnetic Tank, which can use rounds that deal high damage. Also, the Cosmic Hoverboard has been introduced and this enables players to jump twice and dash in cases of possibilities of combat.
Regarding weapons, the patch introduces the ASM Abakan assault rifle, which is shooting with 5.56mm, has a variety of firing modes. Along with that, there has been introduced a new sniper barrel extender meant to bring the increased damage at long ranges. A minor adjustment involves the attachment system in which faster reload times and reduced recoil effects are possible.
Zombie Uprising returns in Metro Royale mode as well with the update. This release contains improved PvE features along with boss fights and rewards such as genetic codes and rare melee weapons both of which can be used or sold inside the game. The Ranked Arena mode returns as well with new matchmaking and progression rewards.
The next upgrade is the availability of Ultra+ mode of graphics. It is only enabled in high end devices and offers better textures, lighting effects and seamless changes in frame. To provide improved frame performance, the game implements a “Super Smooth” mode, which reduces rendering quality, produced in the middle and low-end devices.
PUBG Mobile KR 3.9 is already out and can be played in Android and iOS devices. The update is accessible by the players at the respective app stores. Those updates are likely to reach the global version of PUBG Mobile and BGMI on a phased basis later this month.
The 3.9 patch falls into the ongoing initiative of the game to deliver thematic cooperation and seasonal experiences and improve underlying dynamics. Transformers is not a permanent partnership, but it will go on until September 2.
