Vivo Launches X200 FE 5G and X Fold 5 in India: Pricing, Specs, and Highlights

Vivo has rolled out two premium smartphones in India-the X200 FE 5G and the foldable X Fold 5-at a launch event designed to strengthen its position in the high-end segment. Both models feature flagship-grade specifications, a refined aesthetic, and enhanced camera systems that cater to demanding users.

Below, we outline the detailed specifications, key features, and pricing for the Vivo X200 FE 5G and X Fold 5.

Vivo X200 FE 5G: Key Specs and Features

The Vivo X200 FE 5G sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. HDR10+ certification ensures bright highlights and deep shadows, making the screen ideal for streaming video and competitive gaming.

In the imaging department, the X200 FE 5G packs a triple rear-camera array: a 50-megapixel primary unit with optical image stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultrawide auxiliary, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The front-facing 32-megapixel camera utilises portrait modes and AI tweaks to deliver sharp selfies.

Under the hood, the device runs Funtouch OS 14 atop Android 14 and draws energy from a 5000-mAh cell that accepts 80-watt wired charging; Vivo claims users can refill the battery from zero to roughly half within twenty minutes.

Vivo X Fold 5: Premium Foldable Phone with Flagship Hardware

Vivos announcement also included the X Fold 5, its newest premium foldable handset. The model boasts a sturdier hinge design and a slimmer chassis relative to last years iteration, enhancing both durability and portability.

The X Fold 5 opens to an 8.03-inch primary AMOLED panel that delivers 2K resolution and a 120-hertz refresh rate, while the cover screen measures 6.53 inches and shares the same high refresh specification. Both displays use ultra-thin protective glass and sport an anti-reflection coating aimed at improving outdoor visibility during bright conditions.

Inside its compact shell, the foldable flagship harnesses Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. A multi- chamber vapor cooling architecture is integrated to keep thermals in check during demanding gaming or heavy multitasking sessions.

Photography duties are handled by a Zeiss- branded quad-camera array headlined by a 50MP wide sensor. It is complemented by a 48MP ultra-wide module, a 32MP portrait lens, and a periscope unit offering 5x optical zoom. Both the interior foldable display and the outer cover screen house a crisp 32MP front camera.

Powering all this is a 4800mAh battery that accepts 66W fast charging over a wired connection and can recharge at up to 50W wirelessly.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo X200 FE 5G enters the market at ₹49,999 for the entry-level configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 12GB-256GB variant carries a sticker price of ₹54,999. Customers may choose among three color options-Arctic Blue, Midnight Black and Sunset Gold.

As a premium foldable device, the Vivo X Fold 5 starts at ₹1,39,999 for the model outfitted with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of capacity. Those requiring the top-tier combination of 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage will pay ₹1,59,999.

Both smartphones will reach major offline retailers and leading online portals nationwide within the coming week.

Market Strategy and Customer Focus

Through these recent launches, Vivo intends to draw in two overlapping consumer groups: those who demand high performance and those willing to pay a premium for cutting-edge design. The X200 FE 5G speaks directly to young professionals and mobile gamers, while the X Fold 5 caters to early-adopters seeking a flagship foldable experience.

Vivo introduces its devices during an increasingly crowded period in Indias smartphone arena, as rival brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, and Motorola unveil their own premium models and folding designs.

Analysts expect the new line-up to deepen Vivos foothold in Indias upper mid-range and premium categories, reinforcing the brands push toward higher-value market segments.
