PATNA : September 2025 – The Bihar government has formally launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana (MMRY) to strengthen women in the state. This will the first seed capital to begin a small business of each eligible woman of every family under this flagship initiative. Women adults of Bihar, aged 18–60 years.
Neither the applicant, nor her husband, should be subject to income taxes or government service.
SHG member (non-members will be facilitated into joining), Only one member of a family should apply but there are exceptions for women-headed families.
